U.S. Stocks Edge Up on Strong Earnings from Goldman Sachs, Coca-Cola

Wall Street edged higher on Tuesday after the latest quarterly earnings and outlooks posted by Goldman Sachs, Coca-Cola and others outweighed investor fears about the sluggish global economy.
Global shares and the euro hit their highest marks in over a week, lifted by returning confidence in Germany's economy, positive U.S. earnings and hopes Europe can advance plans to tackle Spain and Greece's debts later this week.
