Calling all BARBZ! Nicki Minaj has announced the release date of new album "The Re-Up" and shown us the sassy cover photo! What's up I'm Misty Kingma here with your music news. Young Money songstress Nicki Minaj is proving to the busiest girl in hip hop these days, with judging American Idol, filming a new reality show on E! Network, and releasing a new album. And our girl Nicki announced last night the release of that new album titled, "The Re-Up".
Of course Nicki tweeted the release date writing, "Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded- THE REUP will be released on NOVEMBER 19TH, 2012 #THEREUP." The album is said to have a mixtape feel and feature five to six new songs including the album's first release "The Boys" which features Cassie.
Then this morning, Nicki tweeted out the album cover! Writing simply, "Here it is #barbz!!!! #THEREUPALBUMCOVER #Nicvember19th" The cover is a dark fuschia themed headshot of Nicki this time sporting her natural hair color. We love her sassy face and gorgeous makeup.
Aside from filming TV shows and releasing a new album, Nicki is also embarking on her fall international tour starting October 21st! Yeeesh we can hardly keep up with her! It was also announced today Rihanna will debut her new album the very same day as Nicki- on November 19th. We can't help but think this showdown was planned? Or was this just a pop star coincidence?
