Last night music's biggest stars paid tribute to the late great Whitney Houston in a special Grammy show. Hello and welcome to ClevverMusic, I'm Misty Kingma. Jennifer Hudson, Usher, and Britney Spears were on hand last night at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles to pay homage to the fallen star Whitney Houston. The singers performed and commemorated Whitney's life at the event titled, "We Will Always Love You: A Grammy Salute to Whitney Houston." The TV special will celebrate her career featuring exclusive interviews and never-before-seen Whitney footage.

Jennifer Hudson performed a medley of three Whitney hits, "I'm Every Woman," "How Will I Know" and "I Wanna Dance With Somebody" and was dressed in an '80's inspired outfit. Usher performed "I Believe in You and Me" and commented during his performance, "Houston possessed one of the greatest voices we have heard in this lifetime."

'X Factor' judge Britney Spears gave a heartfelt speech in honor of Whitney and revealed that she sang Whitney's "I Have Nothing" to score her initial record deal! Halle Berry also gave an emotional speech saying, "She inspired a generation of little girls and women to believe in their own dreams and to know that they had within themselves the greatest gift of all." LL Cool J was also on hand last night to introduce segments and iconic footage along with Taraji P. Henson.

Whitney's daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown and Clive Davis were in attendance last night for the touching tribute. Whitney died at the young age of 48 the night before the 2012 Grammy's. The tribute will air on CBS on November 13th. Will you guys be tuning in? We will. For more music news, just follow us on Twitter @ClevverMusic! See you next time.
