Launch of Soyuz Rocket from French Guiana with European GPS Satellites

A Russian Soyuz-STB rocket launched from Kourou in French Guiana, the third since the first from French Guiana last year. Lift off occurred October 12th 2012 at 18:15 UTC. The rocket carried two Galileo GPS Satellites into orbit for the European Space Agency, These two satellites will join two more that were previously launched.
