Romney leads in new poll official

U.S. presidential candidate Mitt Romney has edged ahead of current President Barack Obama in a poll carried out by the Pew Research Center among likely voters in the United States. The republican would take 49% compared to the democrats 45%. This is a substantial gain for Romney who just one month ago trailed by 9 percentage points.
