Cold Mashed Potatoes Leads To Assault - as part of the news series by GeoBeats.

A restaurant manager in Bradenton, Florida is alleging that she was assaulted by a customer. Apparently there was an issue concerning cold mashed potatoes. On Friday, September 14th, an unidentified woman along with several companions entered the restaurant, Cody's Roadhouse. She reportedly became angry that her potatoes were cold so she requested a discount.

She received a coupon for a future visit. The lady returned three days later, on Monday and allegedly grabbing the manager by the throat before hurriedly exiting the building and getting away in a blue car.

In another report from this year, a family in Pennsylvania got into a scuffle stemming over food issues.

George Rhome, who is described as an "easygoing guy" complained about the way the vegetables were cooked during dinner. Then the chicken was served and he became upset it had been baked instead of fried. The comments offended his daughter-in-law who was cooking so she threw a chair at him. The fight moved outdoors, to the sidewalk with another family member involved. Police soon arrested the upset Rhome.
