Old Egyptian law pits landlords and tenants

In Egypt, some people pay as little as a dollar a month for their rent – and they can't be evicted. Landlords are desperate for change and they are demanding that the rental law introduced in the 1920s be amended. It is an issue President Mohammed Morsi will have to tackle, but raising rents could be disastrous for millions of poor Egyptians who live on less than two dollars a day.
