Muammar Gaddafi (1942-2011) was the leader of Libya from 1969 to 2011. He was one of Africa's anti-colonial figures and supported liberation movements around the globe. He gave a voice to those who had none in the developing world. Gaddafi promoted Pan-Arab Nationalism and Pan-Africanism as a way to free the Middle East and Africa from western subjugation. He may be dead, but his ideas live on. This video was not made by me, I found it on Youtube.
