Tonight, we entered the third (of four) training phases of the season. That's right...we've already reached halftime. Tonight, the women headed to Fort Sheridan for some VO2 intervals. 6x800 @ roughly 3k-5k pace with equal recovery.
We felt they handled themselves very well. Here's Coach P.'s take - not only on the workout (she oversaw pace groups 2 & 3 tonight) - but with the conclusion of the Chicago Public Schools strike which took her away from us for the better part of last week! Great to have her back! Practice ran very smoothly with her help tonight.
