Traffic cop Mohan Lal, while doing his duty, was repeatedly hit by an AK 47 rifle by Jammu & Kashmir minister Taj Mohiuddin's security guards for stopping the minister's cavalcade. But the minister, who sat in his air conditioned car as his guard thrashed the traffic cop, who almost lost his eye, said that he does not have eyes at the back of his head to see what's happening behind him. Despite the outrage over the minister's high handedness, J&K Chief Minister Omar Abdullah is not taking any action against his minister.

In a debate moderated by TIMES NOW's Editor-in-Chief Arnab Goswami, panelists -- Taj Mohiuddin, Minister for Irrigation and Flood Control, Jammu and Kashmir; Aslam Ghoni, Leader, NC; Shobha De, Author and Rajesh Kalra, Chief Editor, Times Internet Ltd -- discuss the issue whether there would be respect for a policeman on duty if he is thrashed for doing his duty.
