Mali requests foreign help to crush separatists

Mali has requested assistance from the Community of West African States (ECOWAS) to help restore control over the north of the country, where it fights against separatists. But Malians remain divided over the prospect of a military campaign led by neighbouring countries. Al Jazeera's Hashem Ahelbarra reports from the capital city, Bamako.
