Prince Harry inspects helicopter at Camp Bastion at beginning of four-month deployment

Britain's Prince Harry arrives at Camp Bastion in Afghanistan's Helmand Province to start an operational tour as an Apache pilot.
On Friday the prince spent the morning checking over a state-of-the-art Apache Army aircraft accompanied by another unnamed member of 662 Squadron, 3 Regiment Army Air Corps, the 100-strong unit to which he has been posted.
The prince is to be working as part of the Joint Aviation Group (JAG) which provides helicopter support to the International Security and Assistance Force (ISAF) and Afghan forces operating throughout Regional Command South West.
The prince qualified as a Co-Pilot Gunner (CPG) in February and was posted to 3 Regiment Army Air Corps, part of 16 Air Assault Brigade, to gain further flying experience and to operate the aircraft on a number of exercises.
