The Name Of Mashiach In Torah Codes Of Passage When Jacob Wrestles An Angel
  • 12 years ago
In the passage in the Torah which tells of how Jacob wrestled with an angel, and then
asked for the angel's name, it says within the hidden code "Name of Messiah".
Yeshua is the Messiah, and He did not come to establish a new religion called Christianity.
I wonder if G-D put this phrase within this specific passage because some of our Jewish brethren struggle with the idea of continuing to be a Torah observant Jew while believing that Yeshua is the Messiah, just like Jacob (our forefather who represents also the nation of Israel) struggled with the angel ( who represents G-D, and as such also the plans and purposes of G-D).
You can be a Torah observant Jew who studies Torah and Talmud and you can keep living the same frum lifestyle while believing that Yeshua is the promised Messiah. There is no contradiction because Yeshua was always an Orthodox Jew who upheld and continues to uphold the Torah. It only seems contradictory to some because of all the great distortions which took place in order to create the new religion which Yeshua never wanted to create.Yeshua said that salvation comes from the Jews ( Yochanan/John 4:24), so why would Yeshua want to destroy Judaism while saying that?
