The United Nations says it will move its planned refugee camp in Iraq's al-Anbar province further away from the Syrian border.
An official with the UN refugees agency told Al Jazeera this measure is meant to protect those fleeing the violence.
Iraq announced it was opening its borders with Syria on Monday, but so far, only a handful of refugees have arrived.
