Syria: Fighting rages in Damascus and Aleppo

The streets of Syria's two biggest cities have recently been turned into the front line of the battle for the country's future. Syrian state media are claiming that government forces have cleared rebels out of neighbourhoods in Damascus. Meanwhile, in the northern city of Aleppo, activists say opposition fighters have stepped up their assault against regime forces. Al Jazeera's Nicole Johnston reports.
