Glad Rag Doll-Dan Ritchie Orchestra on Perfect 15106.Recorded in NY,Jan.4-1929.Vocal is supposed to be Scrappy Lambert but it sounds like Irving Kaufman to me.The Orchestra is really the Bob Haring Orchestra.

Lou, surprisingly you posted a better copy of this before and in that case Scrappy's voice timbre is notably clearer. I herewith withdraw my previous comment, and do say it is him. Check Thanks in advance for your feedback!

This version is so enjoyable with its outstanding instrumentation... This sounds neither like Scrappy nor Kaufman to me. Oh well, whatever this version is great anyway.

I agree that it doesn't sound like Scrappy but I don't think the voice has the cutting sharpness of Irving Kaufman either, particularly on the low notes. Another 20s mystery with all those pseudonyms designed to protect anyone under an exclusive contract or to confuse the tax man?
