Best known for getting parties started around the world, DJ Bob Sinclar is spinning into new terrority at the Venice Film Festival.

The Frenchman will take a break from promoting his new single "Groupie," and serve as a member of the judging panel at the festival.

"I have never been to Venice, I wanted to do some sightseeing, so they said (The Venice Film Festival) we are going to pay your room for nine days with lunch and everything, so I say, 'OK I come. I have to do something else?' 'Yeah, you have to judge movies!' 'Ok, ok let's do it.'"

In between all that sightseeing, Sinclar has 17 films to see and consider.

"It is unbelievable and sometimes the movies speak in English or speak in Italian with subtitles in English, so it is going to be hard. So at the end of nine days I will have the eyes here you know."

But for now he has his sights set on relaxation.
