Tropical Storm Isaac dumps torrential rains on Haiti, where thousands of people are still homeless more than two years after a devastating earthquake.

For some the storm destroyed what little they have.

At a tent camp in Port-au-Prince they are still waiting for help

(SOUNDBITE)(Creole) TENT CAMP RESIDENT JEREMY CADEUS, SAYING:

"No one has come here to help us. We were still here when the rain destroyed most of the tents. We all stood on our feet all night. There is no place to stay at all."

Some found shelter in a school.

The storm is forecast to sweep over eastern Cuba Saturday and strengthen into a hurricane as it approaches the Florida Keys on a track toward the Gulf of Mexico.
