Village In Israel Equips Donkeys With WiFi - as part of the news series by GeoBeats.

Everywhere you look - you are bombarded with 'free wifi' signs. One place where you couldn't find a wifi?

On a donkey. That is, until now.

Recently the town of Hoshaya, located in Israel has equipped donkeys, that are used in an amusement village, with WiFi. Dubbed the Village of Yore, visitors can watch a staging of life from the early First and Second centuries. The Judean-themed park offers views of nostalgic buildings, old-fashioned attire and of course, donkey rides.

According to The Times Of Israel, its manager wants visitors to be able send images of their experiences in real time.

However, donkeys aren’t the first ones to sport 21st century gear.

In July of this year, a livestock farmer in a suburb of Cape Town bought cell phones for his sheep to call him automatically. The sheep tend to graze and walk the grounds of the farm, but when they are disturbed they will run, which sets off the cell phones that call their owner.
