Obama marks end of US campaign in Iraq official

As the last US troops prepare to leave Iraq in a few days, President Barack Obama has told soldiers at a US military base their sacrifices have helped Iraq become stable and self-reliant.

But as Al Jazeera's Patty Culhane reports from Fort Bragg, he stopped short of calling the final withdrawal of US troops "mission accomplished".
