(Camera: Asela Viar.)- The Museum of Modern Art Rufino Tamayo is to reopen on Aug. 26 after a year during which it was closed for remodelling, with an unprecedented retrospective of its namesake Mexican artist and the goal of becoming one of the world's great modernist exhibition venues.
"They'll find a completely renovated museum at the same level as the great international museums such as the Guggenheim, MoMA or the Tate Modern," says David Cohen, president of the board of the Foundation Olga and Rufino Tamayo (1899 - 1991), during a press tour.
