Legal advisor comments on Israel's deportation of African migrants

Israeli police are continuing to round up illegal immigrants.

More than 200 people have been arrested since raids began on Sunday, and almost half were from South Sudan.

Last week, an Israeli court ruled that South Sudanese are no longer at risk in their homeland, clearing the way for their mass deportation.

The government says there are around 60,000 illegal African immigrants in Israel.

Al Jazeera speaks with Asaf Weitzen, legal advisor for asylum seekers at the Hotline for Migrant Workers in Tel Aviv.
