The US Justice Department says it will not prosecute Goldman Sachs over alleged financial fraud.
Investigators say their decision was based on a lack of evidence.
Last year, a Congressional panel found the firm had advised clients to invest in risky mortage securities, while at the same time betting against those investments.
The committee suggested Goldman Sachs was one of the firms behind the global financial crisis in 2008.
