    Protesters call for end of violence in DR Congo

    Thousands of Protesters in the Democratic Republic of Congo have called for an end to violence between rebels and government troops. The rebel group called M23 is pushing towards the eastern city of Goma. A demonstration there was called off for security reasons while other Congolese across the country call for national unity. Al Jazeera's Imran Khan reports.
