The course is about commenting on clinical electrophysiology for people that are being trained in these techniques. We summarize important concept and discuss with them how these concepts are being applied to interpret tracing that we obtain in the study that we perform in patients.
This course is dedicated to cardiologists being trained in clinical electrophysiology we want to discuss with them these typical tracings, in order to tell them and understand what we are doing.
There are rules and that’s how the course is organized. Before approaching every topic we discuss the basic rules and how to interpret a tracing. And then further in the session we discuss these tracings to get more familiar with the concepts and how to apply them in real situations.
My course talk about a phenomenon called entrainment of tachycardia. So how to analyze the responses of these rythms (tachycardia) when we pace, it helps us understanding the case and to localize a specific site in order to stop the arrhythmia and prevent the arrhythmia to happen again.
By understanding better we try to be more efficient and to decrease the amount of lesion we have to do inside the heart.
