Jack, indeed the traditional diction style is truly charming, great to read you loved this tune and performance! It seems removing and reinistalling does help on some browsers. Some trial and error should lead to uninterrupted viewing in at least one of the browsers available.

Thanks a lot for your great comment, Genia! Indeed, this is yet another great Edison disc, and over the years Edison made pretty much all kinds of disc reproducers, first the phonographs, then the vertical Diamond Disc players, then dual players compatible for both vertically and horizontally cut discs and finally also a few standard lateral disc gramophones. I'm delighted you loved this sparkling dance tune, which is outstandingly arranged indeed.

    Boston Blackie
I like the old style vocal with an emphasis on good diction already dated by 1928. I'm still tweaking my settings per DM instructions but it looks like the ads are back in full glory. One step forward two steps back.

Sounds like a showtune...Would have loved to go to the Palai D'Or.....sip champagne and dance the night away to this fabulous music.....Love those violins and strumming banjos...great combination....
I take it that this is another Edison production....Love that Art Deco Edison photo.
Patrick I didn't know Edison make phonographs too... some of them were quite nic.
Love Jack Parker's lovley vocal....Millions of STARS...
