With the shocking blockage of the Opening Ceremony at the 2012 Olympic games from the eyes of millions who could not personally attend the ceremony, it's obvious that reason is the only basis for agreement in a complex diverse world.
By definition the role of the International Olympic Committee is "international", t's the law of Identity, formal logic. Their one and only duty as copyright holders for the Olympic games is to make sure the Olympics are communicated with every possible method to the world as a whole. However this takes a method of reasoning that matches reality as pre-established whole cycles beginning and ending with the health and wellbeing of human beings - which goes beyond laws of dialectic logic, i.e., the endless clash of opposites. The moment the Olympic committee limited availability of the games, and allowed them to be hijacked by special interest groups, they failed to fulfill the purpose of their existence.
