Interview: MSF in negotiations on Syria aid delivery

Medical aid organisation Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) has been seeking official authorisation from the Syrian government to deliver aid to the cities that are most affected by the violence.

To date, none of MSF efforts, either directly with Syrian authorities or via various intermediaries, have succeeded.

Nonetheless, after reaching Homs, MSF managed to enter Idlib Governorate where the medical teams found patients and doctors at risk of attack and arrest.

However, Bruce de la Vigne, director of operations MSF, told Al Jazeera that his organisation is still negotiating with Damascus about the delivery of much needed humanitarian aid to key locations in Syria.
