A fish farm in Canada is bringing back a rare breed of Sturgeon, which is considered a delicacy especially for its caviar, that almost died out about a century ago.

The farm's research team spent 15 years helping the Breviro Sturgeon, which has existed since the age of dinosaurs, flourish again in captivity.

It is the only farm in the world licensed by CITES - the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species - to sell caviar that comes from Breviro Sturgeon.

Al Jazeera's John Terrett reports from the city of St John in the Canadian province New Brunswick.
