Greece's main political parties risk a backlash in the upcoming general election over the handling of the economic crisis.
The political tide may be inching closer towards extreme nationalism, as polls show some voters plan to punish the current leadership for its inability to improve their situation.

The traditional parties, meanwhile, hope that most Greeks will reject the more extreme alternatives.
