    Disagreements scupper Thai climate meeting

    The latest round of discussions on climate change has become bogged down in disagreements and, at times, dismay.

    Delegates have been meeting at the United Nations in the Thai capital, Bangkok, hoping to build on the positive outcomes of December's meeting in Cancun, Mexico.

    But the initial optimism turned into frustration as talks proved that the topic was still a fight between rich and poor nations.
