Amelia Hempleman-Adams climbs on top of the London Eye for a rare ride.

She is one of the torch bearers carrying the Olympic flame ahead of the 2012 games.

At 16 she became the youngest person to ski to the South Pole.

Safety harnessed to one of the capsules and with a bird's eye view of the city, she rode the giant Ferris wheel Sunday.

"It was amazing, and you get out at the top and you see across the whole of London, just an amazing view and an amazing feeling just having the flame in front of you."

The torch will be carried around the city's religious, political and royal landmarks before the Olympic opening ceremony Friday.
