Lutz Goebel is president of "Die Familienunternehmer", an advocacy group for family-owned businesses. He says policy-makers neglect family-owned companies. Family-owned businesses supply 60 percent of jobs in Germany, and 80 percent of trainee positions. That makes them the backbone of German industry.
