OC Music Awards winner of Best New Artist in 2011, Railroad to Alaska, took home the coveted prize of a music video produced for the song of their choice, "The Real Thing," compliments of OC Music Awards and the Awards visual production company, Akorn Entertainment.
Co-produced by OC Music Awards and Akorn Entertainment with direction by Award winning film and video Director, Robert Sexton, the music video for "The Real Thing" brings to life the bands intense song lyrics with striking images of doom and drama. The cinematic visuals offer a looking glass view into the quiet moments of disaster with intense live band performance shots, bringing a kinetic energy to the entire video. Integrating both rich and muted colors with classic portrait photography, the bands raw style and pungent lyrics are framed by a definitive approach to filmmaking.
