This is an animation I made for art school adapted from the short story 'The Lovely Leave' by Dorothy Parker.
The story is set during World War Two and it is about a wife preparing for her husband coming home to visit on 24 hour leave.
I made this animation with a cardboard box lit behind with a lamp, and made the little models with black card. This is the first animation I have ever made so it is a little rough around the edges, but overall I'm quite pleased!
The song is 'Goodnight Wherever You Are' sang by Vera Lynn (which I do not own)
