Volkswagen is bringing a new commercial vehicle - the Crafter - onto the market. VW says one main strength is low running cost. Equipped with one of three, new TDI engines, consumption is said to be up to 33 percent lower than in the past. And maintenance costs are down by a quarter. The Crafter is available with five different types of chassis, meaning it can be configured to suit any use. Its load carrying capacity is 2,735 kilograms
