Narrated by James Blunt.
This episode documents Hugo's efforts, as a volunteer, to fundraise and build two classrooms for a primary school in a remote village in Uganda in aid of the Henry van Straubenzee Memorial Fund. Hugo and his team including Richard Dunwoody and Chloe Hill struggle to get the project completed while also contending with the stresses, emotions and cultural differences associated with a charity driven project in rural Africa. As the project unravels it becomes clear that with an overflow of tradition and protocol, time is running out to complete the project, and communication barriers are creating tensions on the ground. The hospitality and kindness of the local Basoga people versus the necessity of showing progress and results on the ground provide an exciting mix of entertainment, frustration and joy.
