[ISS] Spectacular Timelapses Show Earth From ISS

NASA's Crew Earth Observations team at the Johnson Space Center in Houston have created a series of videos from time-lapse still images taken by astronauts aboard the International Space Station. The images were taken by station Expedition 28 and 29 crew members between Aug. 21 and Sept. 17.

The images show Earth from an altitude of approximately 240 miles, including spectacular views of Aurora Australis, Tropical Storm Lee, Hurricane Irene, North America, Africa and the Mideast.
