For the first time in decades Greece has a coalition government. Under newly appointed Prime Minister, Antonis Samaras, its parliament now has to face the sizeable challenge of tackling the economic crisis. The coalition will have to get its proposals past a strong opposition: the radical left, led by Alexis Tsipras, who came a close second during the elections. In dire need of a cash injection, Greece cannot afford for decision-making to be stalled.
