For God's sake - LEARN some history! Gdansk was for about 1000 years a very important Polish city (with strong German and Prussian influence). And before the war was NOT German - just before the war it was a Free City of Gdansk (Poland was responsible for international policy, defence and many others) and Gdansk itself was part of German or Prussian area of influence only few times (Teutonic Order between 1308–1454, incorporated after Partitions of Poland in XIX century and 6 years in Nazi Germany during the war) - ALL the rest it was Polish city, hundreds of years, starting with X century incorporation to POLAND. Remember about it and please don't feed people with so false information. Thank you.
