Around 5:50pm a passerby seen a Porpoise stuck in the mud by where the old Gunningsville Bridge once stood, on the Petticodiac River where Moncton and Riverview join. 2 Firemen struggled thru the thick mud of the Petty to reach the stranded Porpoise . Ropes a boat and the 4wheelers winch, pulled the Porpoise up the bank. Once they had the Porpoise it was rushed on a 4 wheeler to a waiting fire truck with water , then headed down a walking trail in behind the baseball fields, looking for a better spot to release it.
