Codiac RCMP along with Riverview Fire , Moncton Fire & Dieppe Fire Departments searching the Petticodiac River for a young girl that was suppose to have jumped off the Gunningsville Bridge this morning around 9:25 AM. Riverview Fire had the boat ready just in case . Firefighters from all 3 depts searched the banks along the river, that had a strong current, there was a NB Ambulance on standby parked on Hillsboro road . RCMP were also searching a wooded area around Findlay Blvd . At 10:25 am the searched was called off . At 10:30 am the 17 year old girl was found by a RCMP Officer in a park by the Superstore by the Causeway gates and she was safe. RCMP then transported the girl to the Hospital .
