Hollywood was transformed into a green field as actors attended the premiere of the new Disney/Pixar animated film "Brave," on Monday night (June 18).

The Disney/Pixar film features a rebellious young princess who refuses to follow the customs of her Scottish culture. Actors Kevin McKidd and Craig Ferguson, the voices of Lord MacGuffin, Young MacGuffin and Lord Macintosh, put their accents to good use in the movie.

While the film's executive producer, John Lasseter, paid homage by wearing a custom made kilt.

SOUNDBITE Executive producer, John Lasseter, saying (English):

"The plaid that it's made of is called a tartan and they all represent different families and this one we created in the movie "Brave." It represents Merida's family, the DunBroch family."

The "Brave" film premiere is a special part of the 2012 Los Angeles Film Festival. "Brave" is also the first film to be premiered at the newly re-named Dolby Theatre, formerly the Kodak Theater.
