Female assaulted by Tim Horton's

At approximately 3:45 p.m. on May 29, 2011, Codiac RCMP responded to an assault with a knife at Tim Horton's on St. George and King Street in Moncton.
A 26-year-old woman received a cut to the face and was transported to hospital by ambulance where she was treated and later released. A 47-year-old man was not harmed.
Police went to a residence on Victoria Street a few minutes after the incident and arrested a 59-year-old woman from Moncton in connection with the assault. A male was also handcuffed in front of a house on Victoria.
The victims and the suspect were known to each other and police believe this was an isolated incident.
The suspect remains in police custody and is scheduled to appear in Moncton Provincial Court on May 30 at 1:30 p.m. to faces two charges of assault with a weapon.
