Jaws of Life used to free trapped woman 2 injured in Crash

Dieppe Firefighters worked for almost a 1/2 hour to free a woman that was trapped due to this noon hour collision on Dieppe Blvd. in front of the Co op Grocery store. Firefighters cut 2 doors off of the vehicle with the jaws of life. The male driver of the van was transported to hospital in shock a Officer told me at the scene. Codiac R.C.M.P. had part of the road blocked off while Firefighters worked to free the female driver and she was then transported to hospital with leg pain. Air bags did deploy. Raining hard at the time of the accident and 2 tow trucks were needed at the scene.
