Indonesian soldiers on Papuan trial

In Indonesia, three soldiers are on trial for their alleged involvement in the torture of two Papuan farmers last May.

The case attracted international attention after video footage of the abuse was uploaded on the internet.

However, they are not being charged with torture but with disobeying orders, many consider the proceedings to be a sham.

Al Jazeera's correspondent, Step Vaessen reports from Jakarta.
