I Carry Your Heart With Me – A poem by E.E.Cummings. About the poet – Edward Estlin Cummings (1894 – 1962) was an American poet, painter, essayist, author, and playwright. He was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA. Cummings' poetry often deals with themes of love and nature, as well as the relationship of the individual to the masses and to the world. His poems rife with satire. Modernism prevailed major part of his work. He is remembered as a leading voice of 20th century poetry.
