After the eyes of the world move off South Africa at the end of the World Cup, a group of local youth will be taking pictures of life in the country, in the hope that they can make a living off them.

John Cole, a professional photographer, has been training them on how to take pictures that they can sell and make money for themselves and their families.

The World Cup is a colourful backdrop, giving the children the opportunity to take great pictures in both the fan zones and the stadiums.

Al Jazeera's Jonah Hull visited the photographers in Diepsloot, north of Johannesburg.
