Abhisit Vejjajiva, the Thai prime minister, has started the process of reshuffling his cabinet following a vote of no-confidence last week.

It is the latest fallout from last month's deadly military crackdown on anti-government protesters in Bangkok's central commercial district which left dozens dead.

As the Thai capital struggles to recover from the recent violence, residents gather in the city to turn it back into the vibrant metropolis it was before the crisis.

Al Jazeera's Laura Kyle reports. (June 06, 2010)
