Navies from around the world are in Qatar, attending the biggest maritime defence exhibition ever in the Middle East.
It comes as many countries in the region drastically step up their investments in naval defence systems over growing security threats and tensions.
State-of-the-art items up for sale at the conference range from unmanned surveillance helicopters to submarines with extraordinary torpedo power.
